This event will impact the message of:Effecting Change: Replenish, Restore and Reinvigorate!

Central Institute for the Deaf’s fundraising event is a festive gala featuring cocktails and fine dining, unique auction items in our Live and Silent auctions, a performance by CID students and live entertainment. The event also features our Top Hat Scholarship auction where guests have the opportunity to give all eligible students the opportunity to attend CID, regardless their families’ ability to pay. The CID Ultimate Picnic is our largest single fundraiser.

Join the Young Friends groups of the Saint Louis Science Center, Jazz St. Louis and St. Louis Public Radio for a night of incredible music under a dome of 9,000 brilliant stars. This year’s program Fly Me to the Moon celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the James S. McDonnell Planetarium.

Enjoy the flare and flavors from local restaurants, hometown brews, and area distilleries while listening to live performances by the Eric Slaughter Trio featuring Marty Morrison and Bob DeBoo with Special Guests Willie Akins, veteran jazz saxophonist, and Jesse Gannon. Véronique LaCapra, science reporter for St. Louis Public Radio, will serve as the evening’s emcee.

The evening festivities also include two entertaining and informative Planetarium Shows, a silent auction with gift baskets from the St. Louis Cardinals, the Gateway Grizzlies, California Pizza Kitchen, and more, plus a 50/50 raffle.

Valet parking available. Dressy-casual attire is preferred.

Hosted by the Young Friends Development Board of St. Patrick Center, this event will feature DJ stylings by A Touch of Class Disc Jockeys, Schlafly beer, Jameson signature drinks and delicious food! Join us as we raise money for the clients of St. Patrick Center who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.  Young Friends will be working the room selling tickets for various RAFFLES, a WINE PULL, and a GROUP PHOTO BOOTH presented by St. Louis Party Booth!

DON’T FORGET TO WEAR YOUR GREEN! There will be a prize for the guest showing the most Irish spirit!

Hello there, trivia buffs!  We are so excited to be hosting our 4th Annual Tenth Life Trivia Night!

Here’s what you can expect:

Doors at Mad Art Gallery will open at 6pm.  Trivia questions will begin promptly at 7:30pm. UNLIMITED beer, wine, soda, and water are included in your ticket price.  No outside alcohol is permitted.  Feel free to bring snacks and goodies for your table to enjoy!

There will be ten rounds of trivia, along with some other bonus games like 50/50 and Heads or Tails.  Come with extra dough so you can play!  Mulligans will also be available, in case you want a little extra padding in your score.

More detailed directions for trivia play will be at your table when you arrive.

Other cool stuff:

Special Guests Cat and Steve Pick from KDHX 88.1 will be our emcees for the evening!

There will be a silent auction with lots of cool stuff to buy and every purchase helps the kitties!

Speaking of kitties, of course we will have Tenth Life kitties there for you to blow kisses at.  They love that!

We’ll be at an art gallery, so there will be lots of great works to ogle.  And we will have another adorable kitty-generated painting to auction off, as well!

And prizes for the Top 3 Scoring Tables!
In addition, there will be a prize for the BEST TABLE DECORATIONS!  The theme this year is “Tropical Paradise”.  Interpret that any way you please.  Let your crafty side show and spruce up your spot!
